We're halfway through April and the numbers from last week are worth talking about.
Two separate winners at Mystic Lake last Thursday, both betting $2 a spin. One hit $11,348 on Money in the Bank, the other cleared $10,228 on House of Dragon — different people, different machines, both walking away with five figures. And separately, someone on Fire Light Eruption put in $41 a spin and walked away with $13,924. Solid win, but a little humbling when you compare it to the $2 crowd.
We're going to keep watching the bet sizes as more winners come in. The low-bet, big-win thing is real and it happened twice last week.
Grand Casino had a notable one too — a Dragon Link handpay came in at $67,962, which is one of the bigger single wins we've seen this month. That one was on a $25 spin. Good week all around.
On the giveaway front, Mystic Lake handed out the grater this weekend — two down, two weekends left. Based on the promo images, a blender and an air fryer are still in play, though the exact order hasn't been confirmed. Pickup days are Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Tomorrow (Monday, April 13) Treasure Island kicks off week 2 of their gift giveaway — it's a Twins lunchbox. That's out in Welch, Monday and Tuesday only.
